Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why do you continue to call people who tell you they’re broke?

A: We attempt to determine the person’s ability to pay. We work with people to understand their individual situations to structure repayment schedules and amounts that are fair and doable. If we call people after they tell us they’re broke, it means we have a reason to believe that their financial situation may have improved or that we may have identified another source that might be used to get the debt paid. It makes no sense for us to continually spend money on calls to people who, in truth, have no money to send us.

This is a communication from a debt collector.
